Potter Park Zoo’s FALCONERS program
From their website: “FALCONERS is designed to allow children of all ages with unique challenges or specific needs and their whole family to have an enriching educational experience in a safe and welcoming environment. There will be one event per month throughout 2018.

Rolling Hills County Park Water Park
This park is a bit of a trek (it is in Ypsilanti), but it is so much fun with water slides (including an innertube water slide that my 9-year-old who dislikes water on his face loves), lazy river, wave pool, and large sand box. Of note, the water park has now added special innertubes designed for guests who are unable to support themselves in a traditional tube. You can get these tubes from the water park office and they can be used in the wave and activity pools and the lazy river!
